Before HeiaHeia, Oomi had implemented an "excel fitness competition", but the digital solution took things to the next level and enabled the development of themes ranging from exercise to overall wellbeing.
Company-wide wellness challenges ignite the team
With the help of HeiaHeia, Oomi has organised a number of different campaigns, such as "Mind Your Wellbeing x Nutrition", "Small Deeds Matter" and the very popular "Sport Spotters". HeiaHeia has allowed different challenges to be implemented on the same platform and themes to be weighted according to needs.
"Wellbeing challenges bring excitement and joy to everyday life. For example, the Sport Spotters challenge ignited the team in a whole new way - dividing the teams by location, organising pit stops and sharing pictures on a Company Wall. It brought a lot of fun and conversation to workdays and for example, there was a lot more stair-climbing in the office than usual." Essi says.
The campaigns have got people moving with a low threshold - with a twinkle in their eye, but with genuine enthusiasm.

HeiaHeia has brought Oomi new successes in both promoting wellbeing and building sense of belonging.

"The best part has been having a fun, shared cause to get involved in. It's also allowed for encouraging rewards and provided a fun way to boost wellbeing alongside work." Essi describes.
Looking to the future
The Oomi Wellbeing Programme will be further developed. Sleep and recovery in particular have been highlighted and these themes will be included in the next HeiaHeia challenge. During the challenge, there will be more extensive cooperation with, for example, occupational health services through sleep lectures and sleep groups for those who wish to participate. HeiaHeia will complement this.
