Copart Finland x HeiaHeia: Leveraging Wellbeing Program to Drive Company Strategy

Copart x HeiaHeia

Copart Finland Oy is a good example of an employer that cares about the wellbeing of its employees - not just with words, but with concrete actions. The automotive company, which employs just under 100 people, has adopted the HeiaHeia solution to support healthy lifestyles and strengthen the sense of community between its different sites.

A culture of wellbeing was already in place

Copart already had a tradition of wellness activities, such as break exercises, in place before adopting HeiaHeia. This created a fertile ground for developing a culture of wellbeing. When the company introduced a new strategy, the idea emerged to combine its implementation with staff activation through a game-like wellbeing challenge.

HeiaHeia x Copart - Strategia pelilauta (2)-1

"We created an internal strategy board where the main objectives of the strategy were presented like a drifting track. The HeiaHeia challenge was chosen as a tool for the gamified implementation of the strategy," says Hannele Koivusaari, P&C Coordinator at Copart.

HeiaHeia was chosen as a partner - versatility and ease of use convinced

HeiaHeia was chosen as the solution, having received positive feedback from other sources. The implementation was smooth and straightforward, and the staff joined in with enthusiasm. The first HeiaHeia challenge was customized to include themes aligned with the new strategy.

"The best thing about HeiaHeia is its versatility – you don't have to be an exercise enthusiast to participate. There are ways to collect points for everyone.," says Koivusaari.

Combining strategy and wellbeing was effortless. The company’s own HeiaHeia challenge made it possible to link micro actions directly to strategic goals. It also included fun weekly competitions, where the most active performers of strategy-aligned micro actions were rewarded.

Positive impact and enthusiastic feedback

Feedback from staff has been very positive. Many employees saw HeiaHeia as a tangible incentive to move more - even when the couch was more tempting than the jogging path.

"It's been popular and motivating. You also get points for taking a break, which increases participation," says Koivusaari.

Almost all staff joined the programme, which shows both commitment and the importance Copart places on supporting staff wellbeing.

Impressive results in numbers

Cooperation with HeiaHeia has not been just a one-off event - the results speak for themselves. Copart staff have already collected during the programme, for example:

  • More than 8 million steps

  • More than 16 million well-being points

  • More than 1,000 hours of physical activity

  • Almost 2,000 microdecisions

  • Over 6,000 cheers sent to colleagues

These figures show that the Wellbeing programme has really activated staff and strengthened the sense of community.

The Wellbeing Pass is a long-term investment in workplace wellbeing

HeiaHeia will remain a partner of Copart in the future. HeiaHeia's Wellbeing Pass will provide ongoing motivation to move more - the aim is to collect 12 stamps between April and November, which will be rewarded with a paid day off. The card has been actively used.

HeiaHeia has proved its worth not only as a platform for wellbeing, but also as a unifier of the work community.

"I would recommend HeiaHeia especially to larger organisations to build team spirit," Copart concludes.
